GFR refers to Glomerular Filtration Rate. Basically it measures your kidney function. The unit is 'millilitres per minute'. It denotes how much blood your kidney can purify per minute. Normal value should be in between 100 -120 if you are young. Later ages it could be as low as 60 to be considered as normal. If the value is below that range, surely indicates error in kidney function or failure. Diabetic patients need to be careful as diabetes can lead to kidney failure.

The Arctic Ice Pack Update 2013
The gradual melting of ice due to global warming has been a serious concern over the years but scientists have discovered that the Arctic ice pack is about 60 percent bigger than it was in 2012. Good news for polar beers though!!
Ed Hawking of Reading University suggested recent calm weather had let the ice grow, after storm broke it up in 2012.

The Fact about Chicken Meat
Chicken meat is healthier and cheaper than beef or lamb. Generally it takes about a single month to grow a chicken from hatchling to your meal plater. An astonishing 100 million tonnes of chicken is produced worldwide each year but where does it all come from?
According to a recent German study 96.4% of all chickens are doctored with antibiotics which is really the being missused as an alternative to doping.
Antibiotics, special feed and an artificial 20 to 24-hour-day can make them put on 1.45 kilogram in weight in just a month. In recent years breast meat has risen up from 9% to 18% of the total weight of a chicken. Therefore chickens have become so top heavy that they can hardly stand up fairly!
